Former President Joseph Estrada filed his certificate of candidacy at the main office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) as a candidate for mayor of Manila
Estrada and his running mate, incumbent Vice Mayor Isko Moreno, led local candidates of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) in Manila in filing their CoCs at the Comelec Office in Arroceros, Manila on Day 2 of the filing.
A long convoy of vehicles carrying the other UNA local candidates accompanied Estrada and Moreno to the Comelec where they filed their CoCs at 10:45 a.m. yesterday.
Supporters of Estrada and Moreno waved placards and carried streamers bearing the words “Erap-Isko, Tambalang Lumalaban sa Nagpapahirap”, and “Erap-Isko, Naninindigan sa Manileno.”
The councilors under UNA are: 1st district: Ernesto Dionisio Jr., Erick Ian Banzai Nieva, Dennis Alcoreza, Irma Alfonso Jesus Fajardo, Arlene Koa; 2nd district: Marlon Lacson, Numero Uno Lim, Ruben Buenaventura, Ramon Robles, Roland Valeriano and Lissa Beltran; 3rd district: Marvin Yul Servo Nieto, Ernesto Isip, Jr., Joel Chua, Asuncion Fugoso, Bernardito C. Ang and Manuel Zarcal; 4th district, Don Juan “DJ” Bagatsing, Edward VP Maceda, Jocelyn Quintos, Arnold Pangan, Arlene Chua, and Joel Villanueva and 5th district: Cristy Isip, Raymundo Yupangco, Richard Ibay, Robert Ortega, Che Borromeo, Eric Valbuena, and 6trh district: Casimiro Sison Jr., Joy Dawis-Asuncion, Beth Rivera, Lei Lacuna and Jason Roland Valdez.
